Wishpicker helps you figure out what to gift your loved ones, when a special occasion is around the corner. Recommendations are based on who you want to gift, their age, personality, and the occasion. Filters (price, type of gift etc) can be applied to refine results. Gift recommendations also get tailored based on Facebook likes and interests of the gift recipient. A typical search could be: 'Romantic Anniversary Gift Ideas for Girlfriend (Youth); Delivered in 4 days to Mumbai; Priced below INR 2000'. This can be further narrowed down. Gifts are aggregated from the most trusted online stores. Currently, only gifts delivered in India can be searched on Wishpicker. Customers mostly lie in the age group 16-40 yrs - People looking to send gifts to their loved ones in a different city, or get gifts delivered to self, and then gift in person. Given the scalable (zero inventory) nature of the model, Wishpicker plans to expand operations internationally soon - beginning with the US market.
