Our vision is to take the people’s agendas into the parliament with the help of the citizen’s manifesto (An ideal manifesto that carry agendas of public importance suggested by and considered to be most important by the voters). Meravote displays - the developmental goals, plans and policies promised by various political parties within election manifestos- and present their comparative analysis, along with the respective verified (collected through credible and official sources) achievements. Meravote allows voters to discuss such agendas in the manifestos,vote for them and take informed decisions while choosing their representative. This crowd-sourced list of all these issues collected online and offline will act as a citizen’s manifesto on Meravote.in that can be used by parties to draft administrative focus areas. After elections, this project will enhance government accountability with a running barometer of the projects executed by the government at ground level.
